Tommy looking smug on Cockleroy Hill as he uses Jasper as a wind breaker! |
Beecraigs Country Park nr Linlithgow, West Lothian offers some varied way-marked walks and some fine views too. It has a great little visitor centre with a very good café that also sells doggy ice cream. The visitor centre and café do not allow non-assistance dogs but they have a take away service and there are picnic tables outside if the weather is amenable.
We usually take the green route (around 4 miles) which takes in Hillhouse Woods and Cockleroy Hill, both of which afford superb views in good weather. Further information about the park can be found on the West Lothian Council website here.
Here are some photo highlights from our most recent visit last month and a few more from December 2022.
