Just a quick post to wish you all a Happy New Year. Still snow to be found off and on in the hills and higher ground here. We took a trip out to Sheriffmuir Big Wood again on New Years Day and were met with a gloomy, atmospheric and snowy scene!
Take care driving up there in wintry conditions as the single track roads can be icy/snowy. It's usually better to come up from Dunblane and the road was easily passable with care from that direction when we visited. At times though, the roads can be dangerous / impassable, especially from other directions.
